About JAM Session
Many rheumatic diseases are common! And they will present to you, and yet, education in rheumatology tends to be patchy and hard to come by. BJC Health, with clinics in Parramatta and Chatswood, Sydney, have hosted the dynamic JAM session yearly to facilitate training in musculoskeletal and rheumatic disease for GPs and allied health professionals. Our aim is to engage and guide you virtually, and hopefully provide you a few tips that will help you change the lives of people with rheumatic disease.

By the end of this activity participants should be able to…
- Differentiate between varied presentations of rheumatic disease in order to establish early diagnosis.
- Analyse the clinical reasoning behind investigation, diagnosis and management of rheumatic disease.
- Interpret a range of blood test results including neutropenia, lymphopenia & autoimmune serology
- Manage a child with a painful hip
- Appreciate that anterior cruciate ligament injuries can be treated without surgery
